About us

We conduct strategic analyses to support the development and management of the University. We take part in planning and implementation of processes related to the Warsaw University of Technology Development Strategy, and we analyse indicators and other parameters related to the Strategy's implementation.

In addition, we carry out social research and maintain databases that support the development and management of the University, including monitoring the quality of education.

We have been refining our research methods since 2013. We examined the needs of the University's socio-economic environment and the processes for enhancing the quality of education in the project “Improving the Quality of University Management”. Later, we expanded our research to include technology transfer. Since 2016, as the Research and Analysis Department within the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Management, we have been conducting research useful both for the University and for businesses, supporting innovation development and exploring academic entrepreneurship.

Since 2023, we have been operating as Strategic Analysis Department, and the full scope of our responsibilities is defined in Regulation No. 10/2023 of the Rector of the Warsaw University of Technology, dated 8 March 2023.
