We conduct social research and strategic analyses at the Warsaw University of Technology

We carry out strategic analyses to support the development and management of the University. We take part in planning and implementation of processes related to the Warsaw University of Technology Development Strategy, and we analyse indicators and other parameters related to the Strategy's implementation. We are responsible for monitoring the implementation of the Strategy – see our latest Rector's Report on the implementation of the Development Strategy of the Warsaw University of Technology for 2023.

We carry out social research to support the quality of education, diagnose the needs of the labour market and the socio-economic environment, analyse the relationships between academia and business, and study academic entrepreneurship and the social responsibility of science in the context of the tasks defined for the University by its authorities.

Examples of the research we have conducted can be found in our case study report: "The Needs of the University's Socio-Economic Environment – What They Are and How to Study Them?". We described the qualitative and quantitative research methods we use (including CAWI, PAPI, IDI, FGI, expert panels, UX research, creative workshops based on Design Thinking and Service Design, and public consultations) to identify the needs and challenges of PW's socio-economic environment.
