The use of GenAI at Warsaw University of Technology - first research results
The Warsaw University of Technology, like other universities, actively uses GenAI tools. The rules regarding the use of GenAI are regulated by the Recommendations of the WUT Senate, and new opportunities in this area are diagnosed in the project "Kreatywna Rewolucja: Analiza Możliwości na PW" (Creative Revolution: Analysis of Possibilities at WUT). We present its first results.
Here are the results of the first stage of social research that we carried out in the Strategic Analysis Department for the project. Our goal was to diagnose the needs and expectations of the Warsaw University of Technology community in the use of generative artificial intelligence. Thanks to the CAWI survey (n=779), we learned about good practices of the WUT Community in three areas: the use of GenAI in teaching, research work, and administrative and organizational activities.
